Keri has been passionate about design and construction since childhood. Growing up in Northern California, she loved rearranging her room, sketching houses, and exploring new construction sites with her father. She also had a knack for bringing the outdoors in—often heading to the garden with her mom to gather flowers and stems, which she’d arrange in her bedroom. These early experiences shaped her belief that a home should feel personal, inspired, and deeply connected to nature.

Years later, a major leak in her home became an unexpected life turning point. She hired a designer but found herself leading the remodeling project alongside her contractor, managing everything from material selection to coordinating timelines. This eye-opening experience inspired her to pursue a degree in interior design.

While navigating school and raising kids as a single mom, Keri dedicated herself to learning the craft. She built strong connections with contractors and honed her skills in project fulfillment, material selection, floor plan drawing, and construction lingo. Along the way, a powerful mentorship at the Tile Collective and pro bono design projects for friends on the side set the stage for launching her own interior design firm. Today, she’s come full circle, with her studio now beside The Tile Collective in the vibrant Cedros Avenue design district of  Solana Beach.
