Nestled in the southern hills of Carlsbad, Cresta Vista is a serene primary suite designed to feel like a true retreat. From the very beginning, our clients had one clear request: they love marble. We happily embraced this direction and allowed the stone to lead the design, creating a cohesive and timeless foundation throughout the space.

To carry the marble story beyond the bath, we framed the bedroom fireplace in the same beautiful stone, bringing continuity and quiet elegance into the suite. A custom bed wall blends traditional detailing with a modern sensibility, grounding the room while adding architectural interest.

In the primary bath, a limestone floor and white oak inset cabinetry introduce warmth and balance, layering in organic and natural elements that soften the overall palette. The mix of marble, limestone, and white oak creates a harmonious blend of texture and tone, adding depth while maintaining a calm, cohesive feel.

Soft, layered furnishings and textured wall coverings were thoughtfully incorporated throughout to elevate the space and create a feeling that is fresh, homey, and deeply relaxing. The result is a refined yet comfortable retreat that reflects both the natural beauty of its surroundings and the personality of the homeowners.
