MAILE

Project Maile is nestled on a beautiful property in San Marcos and was designed for a wonderful family of four who had dreamed of updating their home for years. At the heart of the renovation was the kitchen, whose original layout no longer met the needs of their growing family.

The goal was to create a kitchen that felt warm, timeless, and highly functional without becoming another typical all white kitchen. We designed custom cream cabinetry paired with a natural alder island and floating shelves, creating a beautiful balance of warmth and contrast. Taj Mahal quartzite was selected for both the countertops and waterfall island, introducing soft movement and durability while complementing the home's warm, earthy palette. Handmade limestone tile wraps the backsplash and range hood, adding subtle texture and reinforcing the natural, organic feel of the space.

While the kitchen was the focal point, the renovation extended throughout much of the home. We designed custom cabinetry and thoughtfully selected the flooring, stone, tile, lighting, paint colors, interior doors, and countless finishing details, touching nearly every space to create a cohesive and intentional home.

Working alongside wonderful clients and an exceptional contractor, we transformed this home into a space that is as beautiful as it is functional. Every detail was carefully considered to create a home that will serve this family beautifully for years to come.
